He was born in San José de las Lajas, Havana Province on June 19, 1904. Distinguished doctor and surgeon who practiced his humanitarian profession in Güines since 1934 until he left the country in 1963.
He was Chief of Surgery of the Municipal Hospital Castellanos Arango and in 1943 founded Ocejo Clinic where for 20 years he offered medical and hospital services to the Villa of Güines.
An extraordinarily talented and skilled surgeon, with great creative capacity, he was the author of new surgical techniques, especially in the gynecological field. He died in Miami on January 25, 2002.
